A home EV charger in Brisbane costs from $1,299 supplied and installed for a 7kW single-phase charger, or $1,799 for a 22kW three-phase charger, when it is a standard installation. If you already own a charger, installation only starts from $930 (single phase) or $1,100 (three phase). Those are our prices; here is what moves a quote up or down.
A standard installation means the charger goes on a wall close to your switchboard, with a short, easy cable run and enough spare capacity in the switchboard. It includes a dedicated circuit, a safety switch and a Certificate of Compliance.
Yes. In Queensland, wiring a new circuit for an EV charger is licensed electrical work, and a licensed electrician should issue a Certificate of Compliance when the job is done. Using an unlicensed installer can affect your home insurance. If you want to check, Queensland's Electrical Safety Office has a licence search.
We install home chargers for Tesla, BYD, Polestar, MG and other brands, and explain how the charger and app work before we leave.
The fastest way is a free quote. Send us the suburb, a photo of your switchboard and where you want the charger, and we will confirm whether it is a standard installation.
